With their new Alpha Rezisto Mat paint, Sikkens launched a new formula that repels stains. In collaboration with MullenLowe London, our team demonstrated the selling point of this product with a 30” film with cut-downs, and stills for press advertising.

Using foods known to cause tough stains and shooting them flying through the air, we set about making a mess. The television commercial shows each food splashing onto a white wall one by one, before the painter and decorator walks in and wipes it all off with ease. The demo sequences in the film are real — this paint really works! For the print campaign, the effect of the ‘Stain Shield’ paint formula is dramatised visually with a force-field repelling the flying stain before it reaches the wall.
