Towards the end of 2015 Jonathan worked with Leo Burnett on a RNLI heart failure awareness project for male divers over 45.
Adult male divers are meticulous in checking their diving gear, but whilst they place great importance on their kit, they often forget to check their most important piece of equipment, their hearts. As a result, heart failure in men accounts for 57% of all diving fatalities in the UK.
This disruptive piece of ambient/POS reminds divers that they can’t replace their hearts as easily as any other faulty piece of kit, and prompts them to get theirs checked.
