For this standout hard seltzer advertising campaign, we partnered with Mike’s Hard Lemonade and VCCP to create a series of visually punchy assets that elevate the brand’s distinctive voice. The creative centres around a bold visual statement: “4 Words. Cold. Pressed. Ugly. Lemons.” — a celebration of flavour, attitude, and unapologetic realness.
Shot across stills and motion, the campaign puts lemons front and centre — not the pristine, glossy kind, but the gnarly, imperfect ones that pack serious character. These rugged citrus heroes reflect the unfiltered confidence of the Mike’s drinker and underscore the authenticity behind the brand’s flavour-first positioning in the competitive hard seltzer and flavoured malt beverage market.
We leaned into a masculine, high-contrast look using strong directional lighting, graduated backdrops, and saturated colour to give the imagery edge and intensity. This design language cuts through in outdoor advertising, digital assets, and social content — delivering drink visuals that feel as bold and refreshing as the product itself.
