Fettercairn
Whyte and Mackay
For the launch of a repackaged range of single malt Scotch whiskies, Fettercairn wanted to highlight six expressions of their fine whisky. Working with Studio LR and Whyte and Mackay, we produced six films, a collection of print advertisements, and social media content for Facebook and Instagram.
The films and stills showcase the differences in colour and character between the six whiskies of different ages. The younger whiskies have more activity, while the older expressions are serene and calm. The 46 Year Old was given special treatment both in the still image and in film. Distilled in 1973, this very rare and valuable whisky comes from a single cask aged in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in aged tawny Port pipes. At the end of the 46 Year Old film, the Fettercairn unicorn appears subtly within the droplets of the splash. Only 55 bottles of this whisky were produced, each bottle including a limited edition print of the image shot by Jonathan.
