Whilst Government advice is constantly changing, we are working to provide a safe environment for everyone in the studio in line with guidance from the APA. We appreciate that we may not have a full agency team in the building on any project.
We will be working with a small crew, and are keeping the building regularly disinfected. We will also be trying to configure all shots so that individuals can avoid contact as much as possible.
In order for things to run smoothly, and in an interactive way, we share two feeds from the studio. One is a screen share of a window from the camera software so that any shot can be seen as it is taken, whether stills or moving image. For moving image we are able to play back from the camera in real time without the need to create a proxy.
We also have a DSLR pointing at the set and general studio environment as much as we can to give a live view of what is happening.
Jonathan wears a radio microphone so that he can have an active conversation over Zoom with the team members who are not in the building without the need to be opposite a computer screen. The audio plays back over the sound system, so that all crew are aware of the comments coming in.
